Did the hype die down?

To be honest, I was completely hyped up about DriveClub before the PS4 launched. It looked to be one of the most promising launch titles of Sony's new console. However, the game's release was postponed thus it was pushed from the limelight. Do you think that this has affected the hype surrounding DriveClub? Do you think that it would get the same attention it got before the PS4's launch when it would actually be released?

I think the hype has died down. However the hype for Watch Dogs and other postponed games has also died down. I think as the launch date gets closer the game will become more valued.

The hype has died down because we haven't heard anything from them. Derri is right, hype for all the next-gen games have died because no one is talking about them because the studios and publishers aren't talking about them. I'm sure as we get closer to the release dates and they start releasing trailers hype will come back up.

Yeah. There is no hype for next-gen games because for some reason studios aren't releasing info until we get closer to a release date. I guess that's what their doing, I mean there are some studios like Ubisoft Montreal that are doing interviews right now but I agree that I do wish more trailers and footage would get released.
