Finally got some legendary weapon drops

It took all the way to level 25 with my Titan before i got, The Calling, actually I got that for Vanguard rank 3 about 3 days ago, not exactly what I wanted but a solid weapon in PVE and one of the better scout rifles . Then in the span of less than 48 hrs I got The Epitaph 2261 last night and this morning I got LIGHT/BEWARE awesome fusion rifle. Then a couple hrs ago I was given Invisible Hand M7 shotgun not bad . Light/Beware is definatly my best weapon and it does Solar damage. Still waiting for an auto rifle but as soon as that damn vanguard mark cap is off I can turn in some materials and buy Shadow Price.

I'm really wanting the LIGHT/BEWARE it seems to be a solid fusion rifle, which is what I use during PVP anyway.
But I finally got the Suros auto rifle last night when Xur showed up.
I've been really wanting a legendary auto rifle for some time now, the very first legendary primary weapon I got was a hand cannon (which is awesome) but before that hand cannon I had already gotten like 2 exotic primarys haha, 1 hand cannon, a a pulse rifle.
The cap really bothers me for sure I'm hoping they do away with the cap in factions and vanguard soon.

I had a shingen that was basically a Suros it had the same perk anyway does more damage after the first couple rounds but slower rate of fire. I really didn't like the slower rate of fire so I scrapped it. I'm going to go with Shadow Price for now until an can get an exotic that suits me. If I'm given the Suros i'll definatly use it but I don't think i'll buy it from Xur.

I've gotten five legendary drops so far, all of which were special weapons. Two sniper rifles, two shotguns, and a fusion rifle. WTF Destiny?!!

Don't feel too crapped on. I got 2 legendary heavies and then 3 legendary armors for other classes before I got a sniper finally. I was begging for special weapons at that point.

I think a lot of people share our pain.

I got three legendary engrams that turned into exotic armor pieces, but for other classes. At least I could use the materials after breaking them down, I guess.

I now have 17 legendary/exotic weapons, I've completed 4 exotic bounties and have 11 legendary/exotic armor pieces.
And I'm still only 29 haha.
Got the light/beware like I wanted though.

Does anyone know if there's anything specific you have to do to get exotic bounties? I have had 4 and I'm level 27 while my friend that is also 27 has had zero.

I have seen around that you are more likely to get an exotic bounty if you turn in 3 or more bounties at once. It might also have to do with your reputation with your faction.

Ah, that would make sense for me. I usually wait and turn in 3 or 4 at a time because I hate going back to the tower after every match/mission. Thanks! I will ask him if he ever turns in 3 or more at a time.

I am working an exotic bounty right now need to get 500 void damage kills in crucible. It gives me 5 per kill and I lose 2 per death it's taking a while lol dunno what I'm gonna get. Right now all my guns are blue so any upgrade would be welcome

I think that one gives you an exotic hand cannon. I am working on that one too. It's tough because I only have 2 weapons that cause void damage. Even so, I'm at 300 of 500. This will be my 4th exotic bounty and definitely the biggest pain. (Did the shotgun one twice)
