PS App for iPhone? Where'd it go?!?

Anyone else notice that the official PS app has been removed from the iPhone app store?

My friend mentioned it wasn't available in this country and just to prove a point I deleted the app so I could redownload it. Unfortunately when I went to get the PS app downloaded again it was no where to be found.

I can still find it through a google search but nothing happens when I click to load that information. Anyone else notice this? Or am I the only one out there that can't get the PS app to load in the iPhone app store?

Well your first problem is you're using an iPhone Secondly, I laughed my ass off when you said you were trying to prove your friend wrong and deleted it, then had your foot in your mouth Thirdly, kickass avatar. Mass Effect is just frickin awesome.

I scoured the internet to see if I can find something for you. So far nothing. Only thing I can think of is there might have been some issues with the App on iPhone and the 2.5 firmware and they need to fix it, or Apple is having some sort of issue. Since it's still listed, I can't imagine they had a falling out with Apple. If they took it down, that would have been all over gaming news.

That is a whole argument for another thread Not really a problem with the phone per se, I more have a problem with the people who make it. And I'm not talking about Foxconn

Thanks for looking into this. I haven't been able to find anything either and I keep checking every couple of days cuz I want that damn app back! I'd be extremely surprised if Apple and Sony had a falling out and agree that it's likely to do with that last update. Just strange that it's unavailable and there's no news about it.

Since we're on the subject of crappy phones, any thoughts about Sony's Experia line? I'm currently using a crusty old iPhone 4S and I'm planning on upgrading soon but it won't be to another iPhone lol.

I use a first generation Motorola MotoX. I like it a lot. Second generation that's out now is supposed to be better. When its time for me to get a new phone, I'm definitely going to consider getting another Moto X in whatever generation will be available.

Did you check under your purchased apps (in updates). I have had apps that were no longer for sale in the app store still available for download there.

If you want a pure Android Experience, and not some hacked up skin over Android, Google's Nexus phones are the best route. Motorola and Sony dial their skins way back as well, so they are very close to stock.

One plus to using a Sony Experia is it would easily allow remote play. I am able to do it on my Nexus 5 as well, tho it requires root/modification.
