PlayStation 4 and Sony Music Unlimited could benefit from increased cross-functionality in future. The potential of both gameplay and music streaming working in tandem was discussed by Sony Network Entertainment’s Anu Kirk in a recent interview.
It follows Valve’s pledge to offer cross functionality on Steam, which enables gamers to manage local song files on their computer from within the store app.
Now, speaking with Pocket-Lint, Kirk mused, “We’re looking at ways to add more integration for gamers on that platform in the near future. It would be silly for us not to look at more close integration of gaming and the Sony Music Unlimited service.”

So is this saying we'd be able to stream music AND play games at the same time?
Not for me to be honest - I can't concentrate on gameplay whilst there is music coming from somewhere else. It's like when there is someone in a CoD lobby playing music down their headset. I normally mute them straight away.
