PS4 graphics comparision video shows how far we have come since PS1

Lol My husband actually linked me that video and and went 'See why we need to get PS4?' .I agree that I wish the video is a bit longer to show the games transition but man,those are some amazing stuffs. The music is nice too ,it's calling you to buy PS4!

I almost cried during this video, so much nostalgia. good times...I started playing video games on Playstation 1 and every time I thouht they couldn't get better, then a new cosnsole comes out,. Now I see the Playstation 4 graphics, I think if there's going to be anything better than this it'll be human like graphics and tat would be awesome.

Its funny how this reminds me of this post where it said that the only difference back then and now with graphics is more triangles. The graphics seem to really jump for me from PS1 to PS2 since I didn't really get those back then since I was usually a PC gamer. Its fun to see how the graphics has evolved throughout the years.

Cool video! And it's certainly fun to see where it all began and where it ended up. I wish there was more emphasis on each game, but I suppose I can check them out myself anyway. Seeing this, I thought to myself that surely in a few years we'd probably be playing with what looks like real people already, but I can't really picture it as of now.

I know. Its just funny that people are calling these next gen.

The jump from the PS2 to the PS3 was next gen. Compare GOW2 and GOW3.

At this point, we can only see minor improvements.

I feel the same way. When you spend that much time with a hobby you end up feeling emotional about it. I also felt tugs at my heartstrings while watching the video. I think part of why I felt this way is that I was in school when PS1 was released and I had a lot of time to play the console, which allowed me to make even more of an emotional investment. It is funny to see how far we have advanced in a relatively short period of time.

Yeah that is a very impressive video. I mean I always knew there was a big difference in graphics of older systems and newer Gen systems. I just did not think the differences would be that great.
