PS4 to cost $399!

Definitely a good price in comparison to the Xbox One, they aren't forcing you to buy things that you don't need i.e. the new Kinect. I think that the sales will definitely reflect this and the PS4 will sell more copies, simply because are in an economic recession and people aren't prepared to put in as much money as they could 8 years ago.

I think the price for both Is quite good. It wouldn't phase me that much if the Sony was an extra $100-200.

Kincet isn't super popular because American's get their work outs at the gym. Kinect doesn't really do anything for us.

I think £350 for a new release is really reasonable not like xbox wanting £450 because they are not giving a choice to there customers if they want Kinect or not they are just charging a extra £100 then saying you get the Kinect i doubt many people want it tbh maybe 20% want it..

That is a great price considering the Xbox One will be costing $500, which is half a thousand. Both systems are expensive, but the difference does not sell me. I need to know which system will actually dominate before I make my purchase.

Wow, A price of 399$ will get many customers for buying the Playstation 4. Now, I will certainly be buying it. I think that the new Playstation is certainly going to be a big HIT.

That doesn't surprise me much since now, the PS 3 can be bought on eBay for $250. Sometimes, you can even get them for cheaper than this. What I tend to do is wait a year before upgrading to the next console and this way I don't have to pay so much for it. It took a long time for them to create the PS4 which is what surprised me the most. Consoles come out every 5 to 8 years on average, depending on who makes them.

It is probably worth that for all of the technology in it. I would not buy it at that price though. $400 can go a long way and I cannot afford to spend that on a console that will be my secondary console. No problem with Sony, but I just prefer to play Nintendo games.

Everytime this thread comes back up to the top I smile. The price is so much better than the Xbone and my wallet gets giddy about that. It takes a lot to put out money for a new console, so the cheaper one usually gets my attention first, the fact is; I'm not impressed with the Xbone right now. Its not bringing a lot to the table and the PS 4 is really being gamer centric. It's going to be a good generation.
