I feel bad for you UK gamers because from what I've seen at least in PSN digital downloads you guys are getting robbed. The download sizes look pretty compatible, but the prices are ridiculous. I actually feel pretty disgusted for you. The link will be below but I'll also put them below. Seriously this is unfair and I can't believe that it's inflation alone that is causing Sony to do this.

I dont know why download sizes are different for diff regions. Anyone tell me that?
As for prices its the same here in AUS,digital and retail. New releases in most places are a rip off. Thats why so many import many of their games from overseas.

I also agree that the prices are quite ridiculous, however I am not surpised. If new releases for PS3 can be just shy of £50, then Sony will have no problem having more than a £60 price tag for new PS4 releases. I would be interested to know how much cheaper the games will be for US customers, I don't suppose it will be all that much.

When you factor in the current exchange rate then the games are much cheaper for people who live in the US. But the UK gamers and especially the Australian gamers have been getting ripped off for years when it comes to prices. Most of the downloads are pretty much the same size but I'm not sure why some of them are different. Maybe things that appeal to uk gamers were added like different voice overs?

£63 pounds for FIFA 13? That is a lot of money to spend just to get an updated roster of players (and maybe if we're lucky a few upgrades in the game itself). All of these games are insanely overpriced.

The prices really surprise me because I've heard from European gamers that the prices can be more than what they sell for in the States buy looking at the PS4 costs it's pretty ridiculous. And I'm not sure why the games cost this much especially FIFA. I mean for the most part the US doesn't care about soccer so why in a country that adores the sport is the game so much?

Eh, welcome to Europe, i guess. It was always like this, since the PSN Store open to business. It really isn't worth it getting digital versions of the games because somehow they manage to be even more expensive.

It's still pretty shocking that these are the prices. When you count that it's the digital releases, which I still believe should be cheaper than the actual physical discs, it's really hard not to say that Europe based gamers aren't getting robbed by Sony. I can't imagine what is happening that caused Sony and the publishers to raise the rates, it has to be more than just inflation.

I can't believe that I wasn't paying attention to that. My only excuse is that I still can't believe the prices on everything. Seriously Angry Birds Star Wars: 1.5GB – £32.99? Who would pay for that. Let's see £32.99 is close to Rs 3400 which is roughly the amount of money I spend on food every 15-16 days. It is also a little more than half my monthly rent. Whoever priced that thing needs a slap.

First how is you're rent that low and how can I move there? Second converted into American currency that about a month and a half of groceries for me, so for only 1.5gb and it being Angry Birds I can't help but think that someone over there is laughing their asses off at us. Even for a goof play it's not really worth it.

...and that's how Rovio got cocky. People might pay for it on smartphones and tablets, but that's a silly asking price (and size) for what is essentially the same game on a bigger screen (having just looked at some of it on YouTube, it IS basically the same), but everyone else knows something is off about it.

That's an insane amount, but as usual the big supermarkets will offer some good bundle deals which will make the games cheaper.

One thing though, I feel now that I know the size of each game, I'm judging the quality of the game by the size! Like why would I buy a game that's 10gb in size when I can get a 35gb one. In my head it makes me think that more time/development went into the bigger size game. Silly I know but to some extent I bet it's true!

I just read that they knocked off a whole £3, so they ones that were 62,99 are now at 59,99. Still £5 more than XB1 I think...

That's true. I like digital for the convenience when it comes to portables, but for consoles I want the case and disc.

It depends on the game really whether or not I buy digital. If it's indie then you usually have no choice but when it comes to my console games I do prefer having the case and disc even though it's not the same as back in the old days. If you still have your PS1 and PS2 games you can trace down the list by year of when they stopped making the physical releases awesome.

Most of the game sizes make sense, people just can't get past Angry Birds because it's Angry Birds and their trying to justify how much it costs. I feel bad for overseas gamers because the price that they are trying to get away with for a game that I still can't believe the size is ridiculous.
