Hi all,
Apologies if this has come up previously - I can’t seem to find any useful information about it.
Purchased an SSD upgrade for my PS5, and removed the cover to install it just to find out that it looks nothing like the install videos I’ve watched. There is no metal plate covering the SSD housing, but rather one large plastic black cover over the entire unit (see attached pic).
Does anyone have any experience with this? My impression is that perhaps I have an older unit. Is it worth purchasing the screwdriver I’d need to remove the plastic cover? Can I even upgrade this unit?
Appreciate any help!
