Warranty -- Worth it or not?

Should I get the warranty from Sony or get Square Trade warranty from Amazon?

I would go with the one from Sony since they are the ones who built the PS4, and their service is good as far as I know, but the square trade warranty from Amazon is good too.
They're both good, so you'll be fine with the one you end up picking.

The PlayStation® Protection Plans are available for purchase by customers who are still within their original one-year limited warranty.
Accidental Damage Plans are available to anyone who has purchased a system in the past 30 days.

any update or this? I assume nobody got the accidental or the protection plan Sony is offering?

You should go with the sony one if the first 30 days hasn't past. I picked 4 year accidental plan insurance just in case something happens to it. You get a bit of discount if you have PLUS I think.
