What was your favorite PS1-PS3 game ever made?

Crash bandicoot! I really miss this game and I couldn't play it anymore on my PS1 since it's broken.

Here's my list :)

PS1
- Tomb Raider
- Kagero
- Tekken 3
- FF8
- Castlevania

PS2
- Def Jam
- Marvel Nemesis
- God of War
- GTA
- Tekken 5
- Devil May Cry
- Yakuza
- Twisted Metal

PS3
- Army of Two
- Fight Night Champion
- Rock Band / Guitar Hero
- Tekken 6
- Marvel Ultimate Alliance

I never owned a PS1, but I did have a PS2. My favorites back then were the GTA series, SSX, Madden, Smugglers Run, ATV Offroad Fury, and probably a few that I'm forgetting. My favorite PS2 game of all time is a game that I didn't discover until a year or two ago and that game is Bully!

The only games I really played on the PSX and the PS2 were JRPG's, Socom, and Tom Clancey's Rainbow 6. I never got into multi player until my brief stint with PS 3.

I would have to say my absolute favorite was FFVII. It took me almost a year to beat it because I did every side quest the game had to offer.

My favorite games are King of Fighters XIII and Final Fantasy Tactics. I like both Tactical RPG and fighting games, which it sound funny because one takes a long time to finish the game and the other one isn't as long as other type of games. The good thing about fighting game is that I can play it over and over again.

I love Tactical RPGs. Really enjoyed FF Tactics, but loved it on GBA since it added more stuff to it with the whole turf war thing and taking missions.

Oh yeah Final Fantasy Tactics was the Final Fantasy brand I cared for. Would've been great if they continued FF Tactics for the PS brand regularly.

Tactics RPGs aren't difficult at all. It's all about knowing weapon advantages (something you'd know from roughly any game) and getting good placings (usually behind an enemy). FF Tactics, Tactics Advance, Tactics Ogre, and so on kept it easy.

Pretty much. If you're good at managing characters in a regular JRPG then you've got 50% of a tactics RPG down. The other 50% is having a grasp of the combat system.

I'd say even that other 50% isn't much since most tactical RPGs are just JRPGs where you actually move around a battlefield grid by grid. If you've played any of the games SXB mentioned, you have a general grasp of tactical RPGs.

Unless the mechanics are radical from your usual RPG fair then there's not much to pick up. Radical would be Square Enix putting FF Tactics with Unlimited Saga's combat system.

Sorry to crash the discussion about Unlimited Saga, but my early PS favourites were:
Baldurs Gate 1&2
Champions of Norath
Kingdom Hearts
Resident Evil 1-3
Dino Crisis

For PS1 - Medal of Honor.

For PS2 - Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War.

For PS3 - Fallout 3.

There's so many more, but those are the standout titles.
