Who won the advertising battle?

Who do you think did a better job at advertising. I actually think the xbox was better advertised as I remember seeing more things for them however I still feel the ps4 is a superior console.

I believe Sony won, they used a lot of resources for advertising and their commercials were top notch. The video game references in them were astounding as well. It's something not many companies do, advertise the content of their products. For Sony Playstation, it's gaming and not just random stuff happening that doesn't relate to it.

I haven't been paying attention to the advertising battle, but I can say who won the PR battle this year.

Oh man, I don't think we should even discuss the PR battle. Talk about "Stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself."

The advertising battle went Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo in that order for home consoles and Nintendo, Sony when it came to handhelds. Microsoft had to out do Sony on advertising given the tough summer it had, having to explain everything about the Xbox One and clarify others, and the price.

Yeah, I just like Sony ads and I didn't even know Xbox was coming out with a new one. Just PS4, guess I'm a Sony boy :O Yes I said it! The truth is; I don't care about advertising, I just want that ps4 yo.

I don't catch TV as much as I did when I was younger so I don't notice commercials unless they're posted here or in my top featured on YouTube or something.

XBOX One probably had more TV Ads, but i think PS4 had more online ads, at least here in the UK that's how it seemed.. Also, Tinie Tempah and Sony did great job with the PS4 advertising. Also, there was a big launch here for the PS4, I didnt hear about a launch for the XBOX One.
