isn't Sly is a 1st party game?

I heard form someone told me Sly game are 3rd party but they exclusive to Playstation so does that count as 1st party game?

Sly Cooper is 100% a Sony first party IP. The first 3 gamds were made by Sucker Punch which is a 1st party studio.

But 3rd party studios have worked on the series. Sanzaru specifically. They were hired to do the HD re release of the original trilogy on PS3. While there foot was in the door they got an idea, made some assets and pitched the idea for a fourth Sly game. This led to last year's Thieves in Time.

I wish they'd give Sanzaru other beloved series like Jax & Dexter or something. They really nailed the Sly Cooper feel and it was a solid game.
