Did you have any problems?

Ok so Sony support are retarded. They said they don't repair the units anymore and instead give out refurbished units that they want £110 for. I was like hell no, that is so expensive just for a faulty blu ray drive!!! I am going to try repair this myself or concede defeat before anything else :D. http://www.amazon.co.uk/New-KES-410A-KES-410ACA-KEM-410A-KEM-410ACA/dp/B007G5BDMQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1406647386&sr=8-2&keywords=KES+%2F+KEM+410+ACA This looks like the part I need to buy and it is cheap as hell. I'll use a youtube video to help when it arrives. Wish me luck!!

Welp I tried replacing it today but it didn't work. I am so sad, looks like RiP PS3. I don't know what to do now, either buy a second hand one or just let go :/.

Other than running out of HDD space no I did not have any issues with my PS3. However, the HDD space running out is quite annoying! Especially since I'm a PS Plus member and would like to collect all the monthly free games.

I never ran into any issues either, save for the fact that it collect a lot of dust for a while.

Mine does that right now too, but aside from that I only ever had one incident, where the disc reader stopped working, but I got it to work again with a disc cleaning cd of a friend.
