Did anyone play Final Fantasy XI?

I only know of two great Final Fantasy games on the PS2 and that's FFX and and FFXII. I have never checked out FFXI since they said that it was an MMORPG. And MMORPGs on consoles are just not that good as compared to the PC. Has anybody here ever tried to play FFXI? How was your experience with it?

I didn't actually. At the time of it's release, I was just getting into Final Fantasy and RPG's so I was focused on the earlier games. Also I have to be honest and admit that I've never bin a big fan MMORPG's. I guess I've always preferred the single player experience when it comes to RPG's. I have to admit though that I've always heard great things about Final Fantasy XI and it's cool to know that the game has lasted so long, with a recent expansion that was released last year.
