When did you get your PS3?

I also go tit at launch because I was pretty excited for a new console. A lot of my friends went out with me to buy it on the day of the launch and that really was the reason I bought it so early.

I'm late I guess because I got mine for Christmas last year.

I got mine in 11 November in 2006 and until now it hasn't disappointed me, still running as good as new, even though it's a bit loud (compared to the new models my friends have ) but with headphones/speakers you don't even notice.

I got it about 2 years ago and kind of regret it because now I want a PS4! Other than that its a great system! (I have the slim by the way)

I didn't get it at launch. It was actually probably a year after it hit the shelves. For one thing, the PS2 was still kicking and they were still making new titles for it. The second reason was simply price. It was just too over priced for my budget. I waited until the used ones started showing up at Gamestop and then went all in. I still wish I'd managed to get my hands on one of the backwards compatible ones, but oh well. Such is life.

I personally never bought a PS3. My cousin bought his about 2 years back. I use his any time there is a PS3 game that I want to buy.

I got my PS3 back in 2008 and it was a memorable event for me! Haha! I had some money to spare and I decided to treat myself! I've actually been quite happy with it throughout these years! xD

I bought my PS3 in in 2010 after my 360 red ringed. I was pretty bitter about it and loved my PS2 so i decided to get the PS3. I've since had another 360 but I've enjoyed my PS3 more overall I think and decided to grab the PS4 rather than the Xbox this go around. 9 more days!

I bought my PS3 this year because i wanted to play The Last of Us. I paid 150$ for it because it was SH and with a few scratches on the case. After playing TLOU, GTA V was released, and I was really excited and glad that I previously bought a console.
